Your account
Delete your HuntWhere account
Two ways. Both are for keeps.
In the app (fastest)
- Open HuntWhere and tap Account.
- Tap Delete my account, down at the bottom.
- Type your password and tap Delete everything.
It's done the moment you tap. The app signs you out and wipes what was on the phone.
By email
Can't get into the app? Send a note from the email address you signed up with to support@huntwhere.com with the subject "Delete my account". A person reads it and does it, usually within a few days, and replies when it's done. We'll only act on a request that comes from the account's own email address.
What gets deleted
- Your sign-in: email, name, password, and every signed-in device.
- Your personal folder and everything in it: pins, stands, trails, sits, sightings, harvests, notes.
- Every photo you took, wherever you put it.
- Trail cameras you linked, the photos pulled from them, and the camera-account login we held for you.
- Your live position, your sit reports, and the AI runs you asked for.
- Your seat in every shared folder and hunt group.
What stays, and why
- A crew's shared records. Pins, sits and harvests you added to someone else's shared folder stay with that folder, because they're the crew's hunting record too. Your name comes off them.
- Shared folders you own pass to the member who's been in them longest. If you were the only one in it, it's deleted with you.
- Security logs (sign-in attempts, bans) keep the address and time for up to 90 days, with no account attached.
